We Have Engines!

I Have just secured a source for engines

- both two and four cycle -

McCullogh

MTD is producing the Ryobi engine and selling it under the name of McCullogh and Troybilt. These engines are the same as the old Ryobi except that the bell housing is cast into the crankcase.

The good thing about this set up is that when the bell housing is removed, the engine is much cleaner than the old Ryobi as it doesn't have the embossments that are cast into the front of the engine for the bolts that held the old (removable) bell housing on.    We have had customers remove this bell housing with the tools in their shop but JAG Engines will do the machine work for you for $25.00

Bell Housing

If you wish to convert your own engine, JAG Engines will sell you an engine that has been removed from a "Factory Reconditioned" weed eater.
